The Important Things

Playing video games, and creating games is probably one of the most important things in my life. I love talking to people about games I enjoy, and I also like trying to explain to them how games are made. I have immersed myself among a lot of gamer friends who all enjoy playing video games. The friendships games create, and the adventures everyone can enjoy from them always has inspired me to one day partake in creating a video game. Thinking about the amount of time I have to accomplish my goal of being a game designer never really bothers me simply because I have plenty of time to accomplish that goal and I'm making progress.
I recently have started meeting up with a small group of friends and we're bringing together artists, and programmers, and our goal is to create games together as an outside of school thing. This is the type of thing I have put my time into recently along with playing games, and doing school work. The only true limitations I have at the moment is school, and money. I drive over 1 hour to school, and over an additional hour to get back and its very time consuming, as well as expensive because of gas. The time and money adds up and over the last couple years it is taking a lot of energy out of me. I actually recently transferred to IU Bloomington for the next spring semester to negate the time issue, and make it easier for me to have a job.
